My Story — Why I Became an Insurance Advisor in Penang

I started my career in insurance in May 2013 — not because it was the easiest path, but because I witnessed firsthand how the lack of proper insurance coverage can devastate a family. A close family friend lost everything when the breadwinner passed away suddenly with no life coverage. The family — including three young children — faced financial ruin within months.

That experience shaped everything I do. For me, insurance is not a product to sell. It's a promise to keep. A commitment to be there for my clients — not just on the day they sign their policy, but on the worst day of their lives.

Over the past 13+ years, I have built my practice in Penang, Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam, and Seberang Jaya around this commitment. I have facilitated over RM 4 million in claims for my clients. I have helped mothers survive cancer, families rebuild after heart attacks, and newborns receive life-saving treatment without financial burden.
